Bought a car here a few months back, the salespeople were very helpful with the sale and also with the warranty to fix a minor fault a while after the sale. Would highly recommend!

Sketchy garage, untrustworthy people.  Purchased a vehicle and they did not provide what was promised.  Half the work they claimed was done to the vehicle wasn't actually done, they lied about the service history (claiming it was a full history when it wasn't).  They lied about warranty, never giving one.  Just don't... Go to a more reputable place and save yourself the hassle.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS GARAGE

I bought a car from Airton two years ago and it’s in scrap yard now. The past two years I’ve spent a lot of money trying to repair oil leaks and engine problems that were identified by my mechanic. Eventually I was advised to bring it to the scrap yard after it completely broke down on me whilst I was travelling on the motor way.



I have been 'friendly' requested to remove my review. Although, in my opinion, there was nothing factually wrong, the garage-owner (not Mick!!) indicated legal action, so, as requested, the original review was removed.

Just a friendly word of advice for prospect buyers: get EVERYTHING in writing. You will notice they seem to prefer everything by phone. Don't, just don't....

In the phone conversation above, it was mentioned that the sale of my car, had nothing to do with Airton Garage. This, despite a Sales receipt with their logo and at no point was I made aware this was not done through the garage where again, I made the purchase in their office, made the payment in the office, spoke to the sales person in the office.

I have sent a signed-for letter, which was received and duly ignored. I did ask them to reply by email which they didn't (see above). This seems a bit weird, as the garage owner mentioned in our last conversation he 'knew where I lived'.

The garage owner was going to speak to the sales person to clear a few things up, but to my non-surprise, this hasn't happened.

This whole debacle has cost me about 1000 euro as that is what I suspect to have lost having to sell a car with oil-leaks.

I am all for solving issues amicably and have tried that with Airton Garage to the best of my abilities (visiting multiple times but it was 'always inconvenient') and am still willing to do so. They can't do much about the BMW they sold me as I had to sell it (yes, I made the buyer aware of the issues with the car)

The score stands. I just wish zero stars was an option.
