my wife purchased a 2016 Hyundai Tucson from Colm Cosgrave Cars on finance, paying nearly €20,000 including interest. she trusted the garage’s reputation and expected a reliable, roadworthy vehicle. Unfortunately, shortly after she began driving the car, serious problems started to appear — first with the throttle body, followed by issues with the ABS system.

These are not minor faults, and we’ve now had to cover additional repair costs on top of the original price. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially considering the amount she paid with interest. I believe a vehicle at this price point should be fully inspected and in proper working condition before sale.

I kindly ask the garage to take responsibility and offer a fair resolution. I hope you will stand by your name and reputation for customer care.

In addition, we are extremely disappointed with the vehicle we purchased. Since the day we collected the car, we have been dealing with a series of ongoing mechanical problems. Over the past six months, we have had to spend both time and money on multiple repairs, which is unacceptable for a car in this price range. We trusted your dealership to provide us with a reliable vehicle, and unfortunately, that trust has been broken.
