We are a growing Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo congregation (St. Mary of Debrework) actively seeking to purchase a dedicated worship space in the Dublin area. We are searching for an existing church building or a commercial property suitable for conversion to meet our unique liturgical and community needs. Preferred Property Features: Architectural Compatibility: Preference for buildings with high ceilings, domes, or a rectangular/cruciform layout. Orientation: Ideally, a structure that can accommodate an eastward-facing altar. Interior Capacity: Space for 100 to 300 congregants, with room for an Iconostasis (icon screen). Ancillary Facilities: Additional space for a fellowship hall, classrooms, and parish office is highly desirable. Location: Dublin and surrounding areas (Greater Dublin Area) with adequate parking and accessibility. Our Intent: We are a community-focused organization looking for a permanent home. We are prepared to consider properties in various conditions, including those requiring renovation or historic conservation.
