IT/Laptop/PC Repair and Service - Kells

I am an IT technician with over 10 years’ experience of providing IT solutions in the Meath/Cavan/Westmeath region. I am based in Kells but can travel as necessary and can collect/drop off equipment. I can do full diagnosis of PC’s, laptops and accessories (routers, CCTV cameras, printers) and repair of products or advise the most cost effective solution for any technical problem you are facing. Previous issues I have solved include the following: A plotter used by a business was not supported by Windows 10 upon the customer updating their PC (plotter is about 20 years old) and was advised it was not compatible and a new printer was the only option. I was able to get this plotter working again with Windows 10 which saved the customer a significant amount of money. CCTV cameras were setup by installer at a farm and was setup to be accessed remotely but this worked intermittently and then completely stopped. It was not setup correctly and had still used the default password for remote login – which was a security risk and could be viewed by anyone. Setting were changed so only approved users could access this and has no connectivity issues. CCTV cameras were setup but customer changed ISP’s after being assured internet would be faster and they could view CCTV remotely. This did not happen and customer was left a number of months without this. After a number of months with no proper solution the customer got in contact with me and I talked through some possible options and costs associated and agreed on the preferred solution. Solution was implemented and works as intended. Successfully retrieved all photos on a broken laptop belonging to a parent’s adult child who unfortunately passed away. Setup custom software like Delphi/Autocom, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator. If there is an issue not mentioned please ask as there is a good chance I can help with.
