Roles & Responsibilities * Husband (Farm Operations & Herd Breeding): Takes full responsibility for day-to-day operations and problem-solving. Duties include: Managing cattle feeding, diets, and nutrition. Tractor driving and machinery operation. Sheds cleaning powerwashing, facility upkeep, and fence maintenance. Artificial insemination (AI) and breeding oversight. Leading and managing the spring calving season. * Wife (Milking Parlor & Calving Support): Takes full charge of all milking parlor operations—maintaining rigorous hygiene and routine care. During the peak spring calving season, she works side-by-side with her husband to assist with calving and calf rearing. * Mutual Support: Both step in to help one another whenever needed to keep the farm running efficiently.
