Mazda CX-5 2.2 SKYACTIV Diesel – 2013 Mileage: 262,500 km NCT: 18/02/2027 Motor Tax: 10/2026 I am the first owner of this car in Ireland and have owned it for the past 9 years. Car was imported to Ireland in 2017. The car has been in regular use throughout my ownership. However, over the last 6 weeks, it has only been used occasionally as I have purchased a new car and no longer need the Mazda. This is the reason for the sale. Known issue: For approximately 18 months, the engine has been smoking on start-up (less when it's warm, more when it's cold). The smoke clears after revving the engine and does not occur while driving (I added a video showing this.). The issue started after the DPF was removed and the EGR was blanked off. The car has been checked by three different garages, but unfortunately the exact cause of the problem has not been identified. Work carried out: Twin-turbocharger professionally reconditioned. Intake manifold and EGR cleaned. Exhaust camshaft inspected and found to be in good condition. Gearbox, clutch, electronics, and interior all in great condition. Injectors was tested in Bosch service and 2 was replaced. Bodywork in great condition - Condition of the car visible on the pictures. have few dents or scratches. Despite the work carried out and investigations by three garages, the start-up smoking issue remains unresolved. The car may suit someone with mechanical knowledge who is willing to investigate the issue further.
