I had a terrible experience with PFG Autos. I bought a Nissan X-Trail (161DL4377), and just two days later, the engine light came on. It turned out to be a lambda sensor issue, which was eventually resolved.

PFG Autos had the car on a lift three times: once while preparing it for sale, and twice after I purchased it (for inspection and sensor replacement). There is no way they could have missed the severe rust damage—including corroded brake lines, worn-out ball joints, failing wheel bearings, and holes in the undercarriage.

Despite their claims that they “didn’t see the holes” or “didn’t think it was that bad,” it’s clear they knew the condition of the car before selling it. Selling such a dangerously compromised vehicle to a young family is completely unethical.

I only got my money back because they failed to disclose these faults, as required under Ireland’s Consumer Protection Act. The stress and frustration of dealing with this situation were overwhelming. If I hadn’t gotten a second opinion, I might have continued driving a dangerous car—with my children in the back seat.

Avoid PFG Autos. Don’t trust this dealership, don’t waste your time, and most importantly, don’t risk your safety.
