About the Artist I'm Lanes an oil painter working in a bold, textured style that blends stained-glass linework, folkloric imagery, and raw, elemental figures. My paintings move between the whimsical and the emotionally charged — some pieces are playful and warm, others sit with grief, transformation, or quiet restraint. Each work is built up with heavy impasto texture and confident colour, so the paintings have real presence and depth in person, not just on screen. Every piece is painted on primed, high-quality canvas 50x60cm/60x50cm and presented in a clean white floating frame. The Collection Blossom Bark — Gnarled tree limbs in deep grey-brown, lilac blooms breaking through green and sky. Earthy, alive. Bloomcrown — A curled ochre figure crowned in a cascade of crimson hearts, coiled like a shell beneath. Surreal, ornamental. Ascension — A pink ballerina mid-leap, her skirt a flourish of hearts against soft grey-blue sky. Graceful, romantic. Wildfire — A sinewed pink figure curled low, hair streaming gold against near-black. Raw, dramatic. Plumage — A textured peacock in teal and ember, crest fanned against a soft striped ground.
