Description
Specifications: Portrait, 50cm x 60cm. Oil on pre-primed canvas. Palette-knife impasto. Status: Original, signed. Enquiries welcome for colour variations, pricing, or bespoke commissions. Description: Her body arches back beneath a gilded wheel, head lifted as if in offering. The gown fractures into shards of gold and amber, fragments held together the way a reliquary holds what's too precious — or too damaged — to leave exposed. Her hair streams loose behind her, the one part of her not gathered in or contained. A reliquary doesn't tell you whether what's inside is holy or wounded. It only tells you that someone thought it worth preserving. This is a body raised up and held in gold, and the painting leaves it open whether that's reverence, ruin, or both at once. Accessible art note: This is a painting about the parts of ourselves we gild rather than throw away — the moments too big, too broken, or too precious to name plainly. Sometimes we build a frame around our pain because it's the only way we know how to keep it close. 🌟 Cost: €480 From my Heart to Yours: I'd love to hear your thoughts - constructive criticism is always welcome, just please deliver it with heart 💛 And if a piece speaks to you, hitting 'save' means the world Lanes💙
