Czech art glass (studio glass) from the Chřibská Glassworks in Czechoslovakia, designed by the renowned designer Josef Michael Hospodka in the 1960s. The piece features an organic, undulating form reminiscent of flower petals or a tulip, and utilizes the *sommerso* technique, in which a deep amethyst-purple (burgundy) core is encased within thick, clear glass. Vases from this series are frequently misattributed to Italian glassmakers from the island of Murano. Thank you for your attention. Please see my other items.
