Already with the first generation of the Sample Pad, Alesis hit the nerve of the time. The possibility to store and recall your own sounds and samples comfortably and conveniently on a digital drum pad was used by many drummers to expand the relatively limited sound repertoire of an acoustic drum set. In the Pro version, the Sample Pad has now found its legitimate successor. More pads and extra trigger inputs Instead of the four pads of its predecessor, the Sample Pad Pro now comes with eight two-shot rubber pads that are outlined with blue LEDs.
