Battery powered wheelchairs - NEW. Possible asset to bicycle hire businesses or self catering business add-on etc. The basic wheelchair is specially designed to take the front wheel which is then battery powered. The front wheel assembly is easily removed leaving you with a standard wheelchair. The large removable wheels on the wheelchair are angled for stability. The whole system breaks down into parts for easy storage and transportation. Absolutely brilliant for the likes of greenways, outings with cyclists etc., as the tyres are rugged grip. The speed is governed by a twist grip on the right and the brakes by the lever on the left. Two sizes - one would be suitable for adults and the other for younger persons. €3400 for the slightly smaller one is suitable for smaller adult/youth. €5250 for the larger one.
