Ash dieback forestry

Convert Ash forestry to Agroforestry and get your grazing back! Keep farming the ground — silvopastoral agroforestry allows compatible grazing while trees establish and grow. Improve livestock welfare — trees can provide valuable shade and shelter. Financial support is available — under the Ash Dieback Reconstitution Scheme, eligible owners can receive €2,000/ha for site clearance and €8,555/ha for FT8 agroforestry reconstitution. Additional €5,000/ha CAPP support for ash-forest owners who clear and replant through the relevant ash dieback schemes. Claimed over 5 years in 3 separate payments. Potentially retain other farm payments — Claim your BISS and Organics payments on Agroforestry lands. Agroforestry land can also be counted for nitrates. Arrange your site viewing now!
