Assistant Farm Manager

Assistant Farm Manager / Dairy farm worker required full time on a x 200 cow herd in County Laois. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a strong interest in dairy  and animal husbandry looking to grow their skills on a modern, progressive, family run farm. The Role • Assisting with Daily herd and Grassland tasks • Milking, calving, calf rearing • General Maintenance & Machinery work The Farm • 200 x Friesian Cows • Grass-Based Spring calving • Modern 20 Unit parlour with ACRS Dumpline and Auto Wash • Censortec collars & Alfco drafting facilties Cubicle bedder. Automatic calf feeders. • Modern excellent facilities throughout The Ideal Candidate • Dairy experience essential • Enthusiastic animal loving and most importantly RELIABLE • Machinery Skills is an added bonus.
