🌟🌟Job Opportunity- Dairy Herd person🌟🌟 Family Run Dairy Farm requires responsible individual to work as part of a team alongside the owners. Location: Mountnugent Co.Cavan Full Time for 6-12months Modern progressive farm with excellent facilities running an 80 cow spring calving herd of Fleckvieh/Montbelliard cows. Full fleet of modern tractors and machinery Duties: -Milking duties in a modern swing over parlour -Maintaining high animal health & welfare standards -Maintaining overall cleanliness & tidiness of milking parlour and dairy areas -Feeding cows & youngstock -Assisting with Calf Rearing -General Livestock management duties - Grassland management -Maintaining overall cleanliness & tidiness of farm yard & animal accommodation -Tractor driving duties, slurry, fertiliser, mowing, tedding, raking, baling -All types of general farm duties & other duties that may arise. The ideal person will have experience handling and caring for livestock & machinery experience. Full Irish Driving Licence required. Salary is negotiable based on level of experience.
