DEEP SOIL DECOMPACTION & AERATION Compacted ground can cause serious problems for sports pitches, lawns and grassed areas, particularly when the compaction is too deep for conventional aerators or mechanical spikers to reach. When a hard compacted layer or soil pan develops below the surface, it can prevent water from draining freely and restrict the movement of air through the soil. This can lead to waterlogging, poor drainage, weak root development and unhealthy grass growth. Our specialist compressed-air decompaction system is designed to treat compaction deep below the surface. High-pressure compressed air is injected directly into the compacted soil, helping to fracture and loosen the hard layer beneath the surface.
