Live food

I have a starter culture of mix of freshwater micro fauna in green water. Mix of smallest seed shrimp, rotifers, tiny cyclops and Moina daphnia. These are great for baby fish as they don’t fowl the water. It’s great to establish these in your tank so there is always food available. The gammarus or scuds are a type of shrimp. At their biggest they are close to a cm in length. They can live in your tank with your guppies provided there is enough hiding places for them. Only Endler guppy females and larger fish can eat the adults if they can catch them. Having them in a tank not only helps keep it clean but the babies they have are eaten by the fish for free food.
