Non Annual Steel Blue Killifish - Fish & Tank

Please send me a Whatsapp/text if I miss your call. I am moving house and with a heavy heart have to sell my Steel Blue Killifish (very rare). I have had them for 7 years and they breed on their own, hence the wool in the tank. This is where they lay their eggs continuously. It includes lots of extras like real driftwood decorations for tanks, air pumps, food, Fluval filter, siphoning equipment etc. Tank is 130 Litre. LED is a Reef light which has better lighting and 3 different light modes, each with different brightness settings. There are hairline scratches as any tank would have. I have gone from ordering their eggs in dried peat abroad to try to breed them for my own purpose as I find them incredibly beautiful and fascinating and after two years finally managed I am not a breeder and have not ever sold any fish for the record, this was purely for myself. They are NON annual killifish, which is great, unlike annual Killifish who live less than a year. They live for around 3 to 4 years Probably around 15 to 20 in the tank, if not more, hard to know as every now and then you see microscopic babies. About them: These fish come from the temporary streams and swamps of Nigeria and Cameroon in West Africa. Because these riverbeds evaporate in the dry season, the species survives by leaving eggs behind in the baking mud. The eggs sit in the dry dirt for months in suspended animation until the tropical rains return, triggering them to wake up and hatch within a few hours. So it is like eggs go into hibernation in the mud and when the rain falls again, they “wake up” and hatch! They are near impossible to find in stock in Cork. They are friendly and full of personality, but probably best kept on their own as they can get quite territorial with other fish, especially as they are breeding. I have had success housing them with Australe /Lyretail Killifish and other smaller fish and snails. It is a very well established tank and filter.
