Games console upscaler.It takes component,composite,S- video and rgb and inputs and outputs a digital HDMI signal.It upscales these analog inputs to digital HDMI outputs at resolutions like 1080p,1200p,and 1400p ensuring compatibility with modern tvs and capture cards.PS2 Sega genesis etc.The Retrotink 5x is in excellent condition.Its on firmware 3.71. It comes with the power cable.I think the price I am asking for is a bargain.Collection only.To connect it to PS3.U connect it using component cable,I use HD retrovision ps2 and ps3 component cables to think 5x.I pick in ps3 display settings component and 576p and then 1080 plus or higher on tink 5x,to pick up that tink 5x and ps3 combo display go to other HDMI on TV.On ps2 in its settings u pick component when u have no disc in.If u get a black screen on ps3 hold down power button til u here 2 beeps then wait and select HDMI.The input button works on tink 5x, u can scroll through component composite connections on it whatever one u have connected will show on TV,.The other 2 on tink 5x go through the remote
