Original vintage Jaques croquet set by John Jaques & Son Ltd., Thornton Heath, Surrey, one of the world's oldest and most respected makers of croquet equipment. The set comes in its original wooden storage chest with the original Jaques label inside the lid. Included are: 4 full-size wooden mallets 1 smaller wooden mallet Original box containing 4 coloured croquet balls Metal hoops Wooden pegs (one coloured peg appears to be missing) The set is in good vintage condition with age-related wear consistent with its years. The wooden chest has a lovely patina, and the original label remains intact, adding to its character and collectability. A wonderful set for playing, displaying, or adding to a collection. Quality vintage Jaques sets are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially with the original wooden box. Collection preferred. Sensible offers considered.
