Iris foetidissima An incredible evergreen zero maintenance perennial that lives for a decade and thrives in the most difficult areas of a garden, in dry shade. Can also be planted in full sun in wind exposed sites and on the coast. It is a very tough plant with delicate flowers in June, July and bright berries in late autumn adding colour and variety under tree canopies or in a shaded spot or building rain shadow where other plants fail to survive let alone flower and thrive.
