Make your own fertiliser with comfrey Bocking 14

A staple source of nutrients from this scavenger plant is commonplace in both organic and conventional horticulture. Purchased from a reputable source, I have been using the foliage to produce liquid feed high in potassium and other nutrients, for over 10 years. Do not harvest any foliage in the first year, allowing the plants to establish in the first year. Next year it is possible to harvest twice. Three years and onwards three harvest a year are the norm. The first harvest being in spring and using the leaves fresh adding to a planting hole or a drill if planting a potato crop. It not only improves yield but also taste.
