It comes with a two piece metal aeration system which is placed inside the compost bin in order to promote airflow and allow your compost to cook efficiently. This system is easily removable if you decide you want to use this unit for something else entirely. A great alternative for this product would be energy storage, such as a turf or wood bin store, keeping your logs safe and dry all winter long. When you’re ready to add a large load, this composter has a gas assisted spring opening lid.
