All above Paulownia trees are growing at my small nursery near Straffan Co Kildare. Paulownia Elongata is the fastest growing tree,making them an excellent choice for timber production or reforestation projects. Classified hardwood it produces timber that is durable fire resistant and slow to decay. Its deep root system helps prevent soil erosion, improves soil health by cycling nutrients and breaking up compacted soil. Paulownia Elongata can be harvested for timber and will regrow from the stump without the need for replanting.
