Dowina Master Series Cocobolo

Lovely jumbo from Slovakian handmade guitar company Dowina. This one features a 3 piece cocobolo back and sides. This exotic and increasingly protected tonewood is often compared to Brazilian rosewood in its tonal spectrum. Very deep rich bass but without any muddiness at all. This one has had a hairline crack repaired in the back. This was almost unnoticeable anyway but it was professionally repaired, hence the price as these are approx 3.5k new. Its top is hand voiced dolomite spruce. It has a gloss top and an open pore back, sides and neck, all bound in maple. The neck is 1 3/4 inch but has a slim profile, like the reimagined Martin neck. There is a nice video on YouTube of this being played in Moloney music in Galway. Comes with very nice hard case. No electronics fitted.
