Also, the American Professional II Stratocaster uses a push/push pot on the second tone control to expand its tonal options by allowing the neck pickup to be activated in addition to the other pickups. Pushing the knob in adds the neck pickup to the currently selected position(s), effectively creating seven-way switching by adding new combinations such as neck and bridge together, or all three pickups at once.
