Fender Precision 1977

Original Olympic White Fender P-Bass. This is an original example of a late 70s US. All original pickups and pots. It has that beautiful thump and trebley pop you’d expect from a 70s Precision and it really sounds great. It has definitely been used with plenty of small dings around the edges but it is nearly 50 years old! The birdseye maple neck is truly stunning too. It weighs about 4.5kgs so not as heavy as some of the late 70s boat anchors out there! It still has the original pickguard and thumb rest. It has been routed at some stage for a Jazz pickup near the bridge but then been filled in again and paint matched masterfully which is only noticed when up really close and wouldn’t be noticeable if you didn’t know about it. The paint blends in really well too as Olympic White unevenly goes kinda cream over the length of a guitars life. I had it serviced and set up by the lads in Someneck Guitars about 2 months ago.
