Gibson Les Paul Junior Billie Joe Armstrong 2023

For sale this 2023 Gibson Les Paul Junior Billie Joe Armstrong in Silver Mist gloss nitro finish. This guitar came out in March 2023 even though the headstock is stamped 2022. A uniquely spec'd junior that has some traditional appointments and some more modern. The traditional specs are the construction being a mahogany body and neck with a rosewood finger board. The hardware is the usual nickel wrap around tail piece, vintage deluxe tuners and a graph tech nut. There is a set of CTS 500K pots that get the most out of the electronics. One of the modern spec's is the slim taper neck, instead of the usual chunkier 50's neck profile. A spec which cannot be got on any single cut junior with shelf construction. A really nice blend of traditional and modern. A very comfortable neck to play on. Not SG slim but slimer than the usual 50's. The other modern spec is the pickup. It is a DC P-90 sidewinder dual coil pick-up. Basically a stacked P-90 that sounds just like any other P-90 just without the sixty cycle hum. The show stopper though has to be the case. It's a modern chainsaw case in hot pink with a leopard print interior. It has high quality TSA latches, one of which is locking. It comes with all the case candy present. Pre pack checklist, Owners manual, Gibson multi tool, polishing cloth, case key and baby photo. One of the last models that have the baby photo included. The stopped taking them around the time of the release of this guitar. This guitar is in mint condition with no marks or scratches anywhere. The plastic cover is still on the pick guard. This was a limited run supposedly 500 were made worldwide. It is a guitar that will certainly increase in value given it's limited edition and unique specs. Thanks for reading.
