Description
Lovely D35 Martin guitar from their place 2008 175th anniversary commemorative run. Aside from the inscription on the internal brace the spec was identical to the other 35s of this era. So 1/4 inch braces and a 1 11/16 nut width with the C profile. For those unfamiliar with these the main difference between this and a D28 is the bracing which makes it more responsive to a light touch and also boosts the bass. This one has very little fret wear and the saddle is nice and high with the action set quite low for fingerstyle. The D35 is the less brash more refined sibling to the D28. This one is in good condition generally speaking. There are a couple of surface dings with an area of the neck having the satin finish sanded off for some reason by someone. I can't say much about it except there's no bumps or lumps at that point it's very comfortable and actually plays a bit smoother than the natural finish. Is routed through the endpin so can have a pickup fitted for next owner as needed. Martin, Gibson, Lowden, Atkin, Takamine, Taylor
