Mikado MW 250

Mikado MW 250. Short lived Japanese guitar making company who moved to Taiwan. This guitar is from 1981. Beautiful looking guitar. Truss rod good, little fret wear, no cracks, 2.6 (low E) 2.5 (high E). Good bit of saddle left for fine tuning.. A very well made guitar with machine heads that are smooth and responsive. Tone: This guitar has a very even full bodied tone. It sounds similar to my D18. On a blind test you’d be pressed to know the difference. Very little online info regarding this guitar. Appear to have been sold in high end music store is Ireland. Originally retailing around 190 punt, taking in inflation puts it at around a 1000 euro (2026). Not really moving much on this price as it’s a bedroom picker at the moment and I really enjoy it.
