Description I`m selling my Music Man Majesty JP 7 Polar Noir. The mahogany neck through armed with two DiMarzio Illuminators, signature JP humbuckers, and the ebony fretboard, will give you a mighty sound. Schaller locking tuners and a floating tremolo will keep you in tune forever. Piezo system isn't an acoustic sound, but it is excellent for clean parts, and in my opinion, it is better for crossing over to distortion than regular acoustic, sounds like plastic strings played through an amp. When you press the volume knob you will get a +20 dB boost and when the tone knob is pressed you will split the coil on the humbuckers. The piezo system sounds awesome on its own, but it can be combined with humbuckers. Also, the piezo system on the JP Majesty 7 provides stereo capabilities, allowing for separate outputs for the magnetic and piezo pickups. With all options above, the number of combinations / different sounds is huge. This is a Lamborghini among guitars, and Polar Noir is a finishing that Music Man created for John when he wanted carbon fibre on a guitar, but the loss of sound implementing carbon on a guitar body would be a big problem. So, only for him, they laser cut a maple top to look like carbon.
