Description
The Recording King RO-127 is an orchestra model (OM) style acoustic guitar known for its quality construction and vintage-inspired design. It is no longer in production since 2011. Key Features and Design The RO-127 features a solid AA grade Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, high-quality tonewoods that contribute to its balanced and mellow tone. It also has an ebony fingerboard and bridge, a one-piece mahogany V-profile neck with a classic diamond volute, and a 24.9" scale length. The guitar's design pays tribute to the small body 000 and OM models from the "golden era" of Martin guitars (1930-1945). Cosmetics and Hardware Cosmetically, the RO-127 includes a "torch" abalone headstock inlay, open-geared butterbean tuning machines, grained ivoroid binding, and herringbone purfling. These vintage details add to its aesthetic appeal. It comes with a real bone nut and bridge saddle. Sound and Playability The solid rosewood back and sides provide a mellow and balanced tone across all six strings, making it suitable for fingerstyle playing and singer-songwriters in various genres like country, blues, and folk. The shorter scale length enhances playability. Comes with new hardshell case plus installed L.R. Baggs Anthem SL pickup. Cash sale only
