Squier Jim root guitar

I bought it last year. The previous owner had removed the "Squier" logo and replaced it with a Fender logo. This is a Squier, though; I removed the neck and found the Squier mark on the back. What’s interesting about this guitar is the fingerboard, it’s really dark, almost like ebony. I think that’s why the previous owner added the Fender logo. The Fender version comes with an ebony fingerboard, while the Squier version typically uses rosewood. But this particular Squier has a fingerboard that looks very much like ebony. I reckon it was just a lucky one to get such a dark, almost black fingerboard. The pickups are EMG Daemonum — probably the highest gain pickups I’ve ever played. I’ve also installed locking tuners and polished the frets. Perfect for a Jim root fan! There’s a mark a couple of marks as seen in the photos… What’s interesting is the serial code on the headstock, if you look it up on fender a Jim root FENDER guitar pops up.. I’m not suggesting that this is fender if it’s not, but I’m just letting you know.. Strap not included
