Glow Wick 290 Heater

The Glow Wick 290 is another one of our outstanding wick heater options. Sister to our famous Corona heater, it runs on paraffin or Tozane. It has a fuel tank of 4.4L and continuous combustion of 15.7 hrs meaning that with a 20 litre drum of Tozane will be able to keep it running for over 70 hrs. With the Glow Wick 290 you will not need any electricity, it can be by started through its auto-ignite powered by batteries (not included), however it also be ignited manually through the use of a lighter or a match. This makes it ideal to move around the house freely wherever your heating needs may be. With a power output of 2.9KW the Glow Wick 290 is the perfect heater for a medium to small sized room, making it ideal to use whenever you’re looking to only heat a single room and keep the central heating bills that bit lower. Benefits The Glow Wick 290 will run on either C1 grade paraffin or on low odour Tozane Oil. A manual fuel pump are included. Batteries may be included, however we strongly advise purchasing fresh batteries if you plan to use batteries for ignition. You cannot use Kerosene in this heater. It’s virtually odourless when the correct fuel is used (check out our Tozane, linked above). If you let the heater run dry, the wick will burn out. Once the wick is burnt out, it will become black and hard. It will not ignite properly and it may produce smoke. In some instances, the wick will become so hard and distorted that it will prevent the wheel mechanism at the front from turning.
