Collectable Oxford Diecast – Sunbeam Talbot S.Moss

Pre-owned 1:43 scale Oxford Diecast model car from my personal collection:- Oxford Diecast ST005 Sunbeam Talbot 90 MkII 1952 Monte Carlo Rally #341 Moss PRICE >> €30 or Best Offer The model is of the works Sunbeam Talbot 90 MkII driven by Stirling Moss (UK) into second place in the the 1952 Monte Carlo Rally, once again demonstrating his versatility as a driver. Stirling Moss drove many different types of competition vehicles and in 1952 this included participating in a number of rallies for the Rootes Group. For the 1952 Monte-Carlo Rally (XXII Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo) was paired with British co-driver Desmond Scannell in number 341. The metallic grey car carried UK registration LHP 823. Monte-Carlo was their start location, one of seven available. There were 328 starters but only 167 classified finishers. Moss and Scannell finished an excellent second overall behind the winning Allard. The Sunbeam Talbot 90 MkII was powered by a Rootes Group 4 cylinder in line OHV engine of 2,267cc with single Stromberg downdraft carburetor giving 70 bhp at 4,000 rpm. Oxford Diecast have modelled the car very well including rally plates front and rear. The car is modelled in "night" format with white taped front wings.
