One Day Pyrography Course - Sat 15th Aug

Interested in the art of woodburning or pyrography? Whether you’re a novice looking for a new hobby or a woodturner, carver or furniture maker looking to enhance your work why not join us for a One Day Pyrography Course with Paula Gormley on Saturday 15th August 2026 from 9.30am – 4.00pm this one day course is an ideal introduction. This is a hands-on course and using a hot wire machine you will learn about tone, texturing, transferring patterns & adding colour to your work. You will have use of all our classroom equipment & pyrography machines. Timber, card, transfer paper, colours & all other materials required will also be provided. A light lunch & refreshments are included. Cost of the course is €135.00 Over the day students will hone their skills by working on a tonal chart & a project that you can select with your tutor on the day or you will be welcome to bring your own project idea with you. Held above The Carpentry Store in Naas, W91XH68, our recently redeveloped classroom will provide you with a bright & spacious environment to work in.
