It has two double bedrooms on the main floor and a spacious loft area which has three single beds , so apartment sleeps 6/7 comfortably . Bed linen is provided . Loft area , accessed through a winding staircase , also has a small bathroom and there is a larger main bathroom in downstairs area . Loft area proves very popular with children . Onsite parking available. The superb location and amazing views are what set this apartment apart . It is just across the road from the sea . It is a ten minute stroll to Glengarriff village with a footpath along main road all the way to the village , or , alternatively , there's an option of a beautiful scenic woodland walk by the sea which takes you to the village . Apartment is located just beside Eccles Hotel . It is in the red brick building as seen in attached picture . It is accessed via steps at rear of apartment . Glengarriff is a renowned beauty spot in west Cork , famous for Garnish Island , Blue Pool , Glengarriff Nature Reserve and is well situated for many scenic day trips all around the area including Beara Peninsula , Healy Pass and a 20 minute drive via panoramic tunnel road to Kenmare . Glengarriff is a 15 minute drive to Bantry town . Both towns are popular shopping destinations with each having a Lidl , Supervalu and many interesting shops and restaurants . Places like Schull, Glandore , Skibbereen , Sheep's Head and Barleycove are also just a day trip away . Limited availability July and August . Good choice of dates September .
