Omey island is a tidal island so when the tide is out there is a huge strand to stroll on or head to the island to discover it’s amazing history – but always make sure to make it back before the tide comes in! Each year the Omey races, which take place on the strand, sees thousands of people take to the beach to view the amazing spectacular – a must if you are in the area on the day! This is a great location for discovering all that Connemara has to offer – Clifden is just 15 minutes away, Kylemore abbey just 20, the National park just 15 & numerous beaches to enjoy. The house consists of 4 double rooms with one en suite and a bunk bed room. All mod cons and linen included
