It is also a perfect base to explore the wider Rosses and west Donegal area, with attractions such as Donegal's highest mountain – Errigal, Glenveagh National Park and numerous islands all within less than an hour’s drive. Maghery, a small village and vibrant community perched on the west coast of the Rosses area of Donegal, is an area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by beaches, islands, lakes, hills, caves, and sea arches. The famous Bhriste Sea Stack is only a short distance away and a favourite of photographers from around the world. The area is rich in historical heritage with monuments dating back 5000 years. Our fully insulated PODs are conveniently located close to the Community centre and only a minute’s walk to the beach, playground or the pub.
