Corporal Amiro – 6-Year-Old Gelding with Exceptional Pedigree and Potential Corporal Amiro is a striking 6-year-old gelding by Corporal VDL, who himself competed up to 1.50m. His dam successfully jumped up to 1.30m, while his grand dam is a sister to the renowned Star Cruise, another proven 1.50m performer. He hails from the same dam line as Pacino Amiro, a name synonymous with international showjumping success. Currently standing at 16hh, Corporal Amiro is jumping up to 1.10m registered. He has always shown exceptional care and intelligence over fences, which, while leading to a slightly slower maturation, points to a horse that thinks carefully about his job. Due to how careful he is he has been taken on that wee bit slower than other horses his age. Now coming into his own, he displays the scope, power, and technique to reach the top of the sport in the right hands.
