Overview
Description
Chestnut mare of about 15.2 hands. Was broken last year, and just back into work. Is quiet and easy to work with. She is green, but schooling up nicely. She’s light on the hand and leg, and she easy to schooling. Easy to ride walk-trot-canter, on 20m circles and serpentines. A brave wee worker and has hack out safely with other horses. Will ride in the arena with other horses and happy to work on her own as well. Currently working steady on both reins, walk, trot, canter, all unresisted and light in hand and leg. Can be seen in video link below. Updated 24-06-2026 video of her going: https://youtu.be/fdhC--fPvb4?is=1uNsqmDVNTtjm0PS Her brother can be seen riding and competing, who has a good jump, nice dressage, and all round dote to work with. Beginner and advance riders can enjoy him, so this one feels the same so far. I would suspect the ideal setting for her would as a riding club or pony club. With her size and shape she could easily be a nice horse for the whole family to enjoy. Looking forward to seeing what this mare can do in near future. Passported with leisure horse Ireland Name: Barrymore 8. Date or foaling: 2018 Breeding: No recorded breeding Breed: Small Draught type Height: not officially recorded
