Class 1 Irish Draught Filly

Silversands Lass is a lovely 3 year old Irish draught filly by Gortfree Lakes out of a Rebel Mountain Mare. She is 15.3 hands. She has all the physical characteristics of the Irish draught breed, along with a willing and intelligent temperament. She has been shown in hand as a foal. She has clean limbs and nice paces, is easy to box, handle and trim her hoofs. A very versatile horse for the future. Dam, Silversand is a registered class 1 Irish draught, by Rebel Mountain and her dam (Walsh's Wisdom) is by Clonakilty Hero and she performed very successfully in show classes all over the country. In 2018 she won the amateur sportsman light weight hunter class in the Dublin horse show and was also awarded the reserve champion. She won show classes in Gorey and Bannow shows and was highly placed in Cappamore, Adamstown, Kilkenny and the Irish draught show in Punchestown. In 2015 she won the 4 & 5 year old class at the Punchestown Irish draught show and was also reserve champion. She competed in the Adamstown show in the hunter show class and won against a large field of competitors. Silversands Lass is her third foal. Sire, Gortfree Lakeside Lad has numerous show and working hunter championship wins including 4 time winner in the Dublin horse show. A horse with a great attitude and ability, competing in 1.20m jumping.
