✔️Minorcas Toby, is a smart 6 year old gelding, standing 158cms. He is being sold as lot 110 at Gorsebridge on 5th December. He has clean veterinary cert. By Vivant van de Heffinck out of Young Limerick (by Ballinavella Lad out of Limerick), he has exceptional pedigree on both sides of the family. Vivant competed up to 1.60m level and has also sired numerous 1.60m progeny. Young Limerick won Team European gold at the Children on Horses European Championships in 2011 in Portugal and was 4th in 2013 in Spain, ridden by 2 different siblings. She also won the Children on Horses Grand Prix in 2013 in Dauville, France and competed successfully up to 1.35 level. This mare was only 153cms, but what she lacked in height she more than made up for in her scope and heart. Young Limerick’s dam Limerick competed Internationally with the Army Equitation School. Young Limericks first foal, Young Flex (By Flexible) competed up 1.40m level. Minorcas Toby is her second foal. Toby is very correct and is a strikingly smart horse. He has had a rounded education to-date, having showjumped up to 1m and comfortably schooled over bigger tracks. He is schooled X-country proving brave and genuine and is now ready to start his competitive career. This is a very genuine sale as both jockeys at home have now moved away. He would be ideal for Young Rider classes and would be eligible for the 6-7 year old RDS young rider qualifiers in 2026.
