Homebred Connemara Mare! Queenie is a stunning 5-year-old, homebred Connemara mare with a striking blue-eye cream coat, standing at 14.2hh. This lovely mare is intelligent, easy to ride, and has a gentle, kind disposition, making her ideal for novices, a mother-daughter share, or a riding school. Sweet and sociable, Queenie always has her ears forward and is a pleasure to handle. She has a soft snaffle mouth and is honest and straightforward under saddle. Queenie boasts three excellent, correct paces, with a floating trot and a comfortable, uphill canter. She shows great promise for dressage but also excels in jumping, clearing 90cm courses and loose-jumping 1.05m with ease, thanks to her superb technique and powerful hindquarters. With a wonderful temperament, Queenie is a joy to work with. She loves cross-country, tackling obstacles confidently, and has the potential to be an outstanding event pony. Queenie is easy to handle in all aspects—riding, shoeing, boxing, catching, and hacking out alone or in company, including in traffic. She has no stable vices and is available for any vetting.
