Horse

This is Arlo our bay 5yr old gelding. 16.1 on height. Arlo has been ridden in riding school no problem in group classes (never kicks), kept in livery with other horses great for farrier and dentist. Teeth only done lately and wormed. Arlo got a injury on the back of his leg a few months ago so he was out of work. But its after coming sound (had it checked by physio and vet and farrier) and they all say he is good to go again. But he needs to be brought back slowly and consistently to build back up the muscle that he has lost. This needs time. Hacking 3/4 times a week every week for a few weeks before he can get back to proper work. He needs someone that can give him this time. Something we can't at the moment with small kids and running a business. He loves his job. He is a horse that prefers to be working than not working. He has even started to put his head into the bridle to tell us he is ready again. Lol He is an amazing jumper, never bolts or refuses anything. And is very cuddly. Will need experienced home just to get him right again. But he is a well loved animal and we just want what's best for him. We paid 6k just over a year ago for him but then he hurt his leg. So he has to go slow to get him strong again that's why so cheap now. Very good with other horses and in herd environment. Not a bully. White book Ring or txt if need more information. ATHLONE AREA
