ISH Gelding.

🐴 CHANCE 🐴 *Very honest ad* Sad sale of my lovely boy, Chance. ISH Gelding age 17 & 16.2 Comes with passport but was never registered. Sire is Cougar and grand-sire is Cruising, great bloodline. 🐴 Vet checked in July and was all clear. From then he has seen the physio, had his vaccinations, seen the dentist and has had regular farrier appointments. 🐴 I have pushed him hard in the school but at this moment I dont think he enjoys schooling as much. 🐴 I think now the time is right for him to find a home where he is just used as a happy hacker, forest rides, beach rides. 🐴 He does have a few quirks as any horse does, he can be a little grumpy in the stable but I can happily go in and muck him out and walk round him and he is totally fine. 🐴 I have bathed him which he can be funny about, again nothing major just doesnt stand still and defo doesn't like water near his face, I think he doesnt like our wash bay. 🐴 He is strong and does have a tendency to try and run off in open spaces when handled on the ground again we have got that under control by keeping him in his bridle and using a chain. My husband who is completely new to horses can hold him using this method. 🐴 He defo isn't a horse that needs ridden everyday. He loves his hacking and is very good in traffic, if i am unsure i pull him in and face the traffic but he is usually great in traffic, tractors with trailers, lorries, cattle going into trailers etc etc he is unsure of motorbikes but we have passed them fine. He is nosey and likes to look around him but a wee kick and he is grand going forward. He defo isn't a forward going horse. 🐴 He doesnt like being turned out by himself so he will need company when going out into the field as he does fence walk when he is on his own. 🐴 He is a little unsure of the horsebox and is abit weary of going on but with time and patience he goes on after a few attempts something we have been working on. 5* home only, happy to discuss further questions.
