Kind & Brave 5yo Quarter Horse Mare

Standing at 14.3hh, this 5-year-old chestnut mare is the perfect blend of a steady brain and a kind heart and looking for a kind new home. While she is unregistered herself, both parents are registered Quarter Horses and their papers are available to view. She is the definition of "brave." Instead of spooking at something new, she’ll curiously walk up to inspect it. She absolutely loves the trails, whether she is heading out solo or leading a group. In the arena, she has a lovely forward way of going, but she definitely has more "whoa than go," making her a very manageable and safe ride. She is still green in the saddle, as her ridden training was slowed down slightly over the last year due to some health issues that are now fully resolved. Because of a previous ligament injury, she isn't suited for a jumping home, but she is more than capable of enjoying a long career in flatwork, western disciplines, or as a dependable hack. She has had an extensive foundation in groundwork following Warwick Schiller’s principles. She is incredibly well-mannered, gentle to handle, and would be a dream for anyone interested in liberty work. With just a little more mileage under saddle, she has all the makings of a fantastic beginner’s horse. Comes without tack. Only selling as I'm moving to Spain and can't afford to take her with me.
