Maxi Cob 10yo Gelding Quiet

Dave 16hh, 2014 Maxi Cob gelding, safe and easy, with 11 inches of bone Bought in August 2018 unbroken. Started him really slowly with longevity, confidence and safety being my priorities in a horse I hoped to keep for life. He immediately showed his very accepting and curious nature. He has been to local show jumping, working hunter and showing and always comes home with a rosette. Has been schooling cross country a few times and is confident and happy to jump anything I asked of him. Has been to forest, beach, and rural rides and is never silly or strong in open areas. He is great to hack and is not phased in traffic, or by livestock etc. Will go first or last, pony other horses and is very easy going about horses in his space. While he is very laid back to hack he is nice and forward in his schooling, really enjoys jumping and is light on his feet for his solid build. Good to load, tie, travel, bath, vet, dentist etc with all routine care up to date. Dave is easy to work around and is a big pet who loves a pamper and a cuddle. Dave does have sweet itch but is easily managed with rugs that will come with him. Late last year his vet confirmed very mild arthritis in his front left pastern which has been treated and caused no further issues since his injections in November. He has been cleared to and been returned to full work and continues to be sound. X-rays can be seen if interested. His tack is also available if required. He is my horse of a lifetime and it will be heartbreaking to see him go but due to my ill health I can no longer give him the home he deserves.
