Antique Large Sapphire & Diamond Ring - Platinum

For sale is a stunning sapphire ring dating from around 1920. The ring is set with a large, cushion cut, dark royal blue sapphire held in a collet setting and surrounded by 16 old round cut diamonds, claw set between a collet setting. The sapphire is suspended within the frame of the diamonds and the design and size is beautiful. The sapphire weighs approx. 4ct and the diamonds total approx. 1.05ct. The setting measures 19.5mm X 17.8mm. The setting is raised above a beautiful ornate, petal design basket beneath and raised above a slender platinum band. The whole ring is fully hallmarked for platinum and the finger size is a Q and can easily be re-sized up or down. A beautiful, beautiful sapphire ring that sits nice and flat on the finger.
