Antique Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald & Pearl Ring 1860

Here we have a beautiful and very old sapphire ring dating from around 1850/1860. The ring is set with openwork scroll design, centered on an oval faceted sapphire set in a closed setting, flanked by seed pearls, small round faceted rubies and rectangular emeralds. The scroll work is beautifully ornate and all original. The settings set between further scrolling shoulders, with ornate design and a triple reeded band all in 18ct rose gold. The ring is in stunning condition for its age with some slight wear throughout but as to be expected with a ring of this age. The setting sits perfectly flat on the finger and will run the full length of the upper part of your finger. The setting measures 30mm in length and 17.5mm in width. The finger size is a P 1/2 (US 8) and could easily be re-sized up or down. A stunning and very old antique gem that has stood the test of time. Your chance to add to its history.
